2004 JUNE meeting was held on Friday evening the 11th of JUNE ;
This was "AUCTION"
month!.
Meeting was held at the Indianapolis Training Center, 2820 N. Meridian St.

Our radio clubs 2004 theme :
"Ham Radio is
FUN!".
All who attended had some very good chances to make those
"RARE Ham Purchases"
or steals.!
-The Club is growing with leaps and bounds...35 attended this meeting ;
our treasurer reports the membership to be 80+

-Welcome New young hams & youth attendees.
-Welcome new club members & 1st time attendees to our meeting all were
ask to return and bring friends or guests.
* "HOW to JOIN IRC" (see treas. at the meetings) dues are $12.00/yr
-Announcements?
A. KIDS DAY June 19th (sat) 10a-4pm at the
ITC facility; Ham room; west end of the main floor. Bring a young person
and introduce them to Ham radio.
B. IMS F1 race Special Event station …
June
19 and 20 from 1500Z to 0300Z look for
W9IMS on or around
1840,
3840, 7240, 14070 PSK31, 14240, 21340, 28340, 50140,
144.240
SSB and 146.52 simplex FM.
-Additionally .-F1 race Freq. interference possible; around JUNE 19-20th
we could hear some International users on the Indy Ham Repeaters due to
the F1 race at IMS; unfortunately this has been ok'd by the FCC

H. K9OOA Broadripple Swap meet..
August 7th (SAT) from 7:00AM to 1:00PM.
Located on the north side of Indianapolis at
7373 Westfield Blvd.
There are no fees.
-Health & welfare?
-A brief moment was given to the passing and memory
of USA President Ronald Regan.
-Both John Lee- W9GRE & Paul Bohrer-W9DUU attended
this meeting and they looked very well; for a couple of "OM's"
-No other H&W for this month.

Wes Murphy- N9AJM; Wes briefed all on the procedures
and the bidding was on.!

Notable 2nd place for this award goes to

There was no raffle drawing this month ; however, rumor has it ;
look for some great raffle items at the Sept.,October & November meetings.
-There was no IRC JUNE 2004 Club General membership Business Meeting
-The Executive Board did conduct a short meeting after the auction..
--MR. Bob Marschel- KB9TEA resigned his News Editor position.
--A committee has been assigned the task of review and bringing our 1984 constitution
& by-laws up to date.

Radio Club Gathering is:
August 7th (SAT)
from 7:00AM to 1:00PM.

"K9OOA Broadripple Swap meet "!
IRC will sponsor a picnic; and providing
hot dogs, buns,
condiments and soft drinks. Participants are requested to
bring one (1) pitch-in-dish and their own plates, cups
and utensils.
