  • 2004 November meeting
  • Club meeting was held on Friday evening November 12th.
    Meeting was held at the Indianapolis Training Center, 2820 N. Meridian St.

    Our radio clubs 2004 theme : "Ham Radio is FUN!" still going strong....

    The Club is growing ...
    43 attended this meeting, membership to be 80+
    There were 2 Life memberships received
    from Bill-K9DBY & Dave-K9RTT; thanks!







    - "HOW to JOIN IRC" (see treas. at the meetings) dues are $12.00/yr
    until Dec 31st 2004. then the new Dues structure will take affect.












  • -- Introductions,self indtroductions & comments and notes: by President Chuck - W9IH
    -Welcome New young hams & youth attendees .
    -Welcome new club members & 1st time attendees to our meeting all were
    ask to return and bring friends or guests.

  • - 90th year Hat fundraiser.. $20 with name & call (see sign up sheet allow 3 weeks)

  • - Awards committee Don-N9Doo, Mike-WA9FDO, Chuck W9IH
    -have met and the selections are made For Amateur of the year; Tech excellence (Marconi) and
    Young Amateur of the year. these awards will be presented at the December dinner meeting. (see Awards page for rules an more Info)
  • Pres. Chuck-W9IH presented Don-N9DOO a single life Membership award for his many years of club service.

    Short Club Business meeting, Call to order by President Chuck Crist- W9IH
    - Treas. Report & New members vote: as presented by Treas. Tom-K9XV .
    - November Business voting:
    There were two motions and the elections for club business;
    1st Motion:
    By the IRC board; IRC will pay for the 2004 Dec. Christmas dinner was almost unanimous:
    B. IRC pays for one (1) Meal / Member at the 2004 Dec. dinner meeting.

    2nd motion:
    By the IRC board; to Change the IRC dues according to :

    Part 1:
    Change the IRC Individual - Regular membership dues; effective 01 JAN 2005
    TO : A. $15/yr carried ....(this is an IRC by laws ammendment)

    Part 2:
    Change the IRC Family membership dues; effective 01 JAN 2005 TO :
    $27/yr with a (Max of 2 meals / Family at Dec Dinner, if Meals Paid by IRC.)
    (this is an IRC by laws ammendment)

    Part 3:
    Change the IRC Life membership dues; effective 01 JAN 2005 TO :
    Always 10 times the Regular Membership dues. starting 2005 they will be $150.00/yr
    (this is an IRC by laws ammendment)

    presented the following IRC 2005 board of Officer nominations Slate :

    There were no Nominations from the floor...
    Vote was unanimous in favor , motion carried.

  • -There was a FREE RAFFLE drawing this month ; several interesting prizes given,
    Thanks to Bob- W9PSE for organizing & DONATIONS from MAI PRIME Parts on N. Michigan Rd. Indpls.
    the State police and Curran electronics.Look for some great raffle items at the December
    meeting and the 50/50 drawing will be back..

    Next Meeting: Friday, December 10th, 2004 at 6:00 PM at the
    MCL Cafeteria South. This is our annual awards dinner meeting, bring a guest.
