Club meeting was held on Friday evening Dec. 8th .
there were 90 present!
Meeting was held at the MCL cafeteria north west;
west 86th st, Indianapolis.
Our radio clubs New 2006 theme : " Give back to Ham Radio; Our 92nd Year "; ....
This was the Clubs December dinner meeting
new and old hams and friends attended this meeting .....(90)


Dave miller K9RTT acting President Opened the meeting with announcements
and then he Introduce our Guest speaker; John Isley .
John is currently the Wildlife director at the Indianapolis Eagle creek park.!

Our Meeting presentation was just that; "The Wildlife of Eagle Creek park",
John related some very interesting facts about the 6th largest city park in america
Special thanks to John for this outstanding presentation and humory .
If you missed this club meeting ; a swift kick in those lazy pants is very much in order!
The Annual awards presentation was present next by Chuck Crist -W9IH (IRC 2007 Awards committee).
2006 committee Members were Gale-AA9WU & Steve-KB9RDS
Sponsors awards were presented for : The ITC facility (Plaque) & Web Navigation, our webpage sponsor (plaque).
Certificates of appreciation were presented to :
Mary Brown- KC9FFO, Adele Brown- K9OOC for past years of plannning and help with the IRC Aug K9OOA picnic/swapfest!
Ed Dixion-KB9RBP for past years of help with the IRC AUG.Picnic
Ken Bandy- KC9GLQ for club newsletter editor duties during 2006.
Bob Osterhaus-W9PSE for club prize drawing and ham radio community servce 2006.
Steve Gardner-N9XDT, club 2006 refreshment coordinator.
Judy Gardner- AA9GW for Club 2006 Treasurer duties & our great bus trips.
Great job & round of thanks for all!.

A special thanks plaque was presented to Dave Miller - K9RTT for his
2006 club duties as Vice present of programs and acting President job.
The 2006 IRC Marconi Award for technical achievement was presented to
Dale Schieman- WB9YCZ congrats!.
The IRC 2006 Amateur of the Year was presented to Joe & Betty Lobracio
K9OOA & K9OOB for their past & present commitment to ham radio and the hosting of our August swap meets.
They have reminded us of what hamfest were.
Also this was only the 2nd ime in the clubs history that we have awarded Co- Recipients!.
The Old timers trophy was presented to Bob Begeman W9KVK (82) years young.
Free Prize drawing was coordinated by Tom Chance- K9XV. Thanks Tom!
Special Thanks to Bob -W9PSE for getting the drawing Prizes.!
Free give away drawing was followed by some last minute announcements
and then the usual visitation time after them meeing closed.
Last meeting item was the passing of the official club Gavel from Dave- K9RTT
to the our 2007 President ; Tom Chance- K9XV
As always the MCL food was great!; how can you miss with that much choice.
